Updating resources

Install updates without losing your configuration.

Updates are free and are delivered to the same entry in your Cfx.re Portal. Announcements and changelogs are posted on our Discord.

Update a resource

  1. Back up the current folder - especially config.lua, server_config.lua, locales/ and anything you changed in bridge/ or html/.
  2. Download the newest version from the Portal (Granted Assets).
  3. Replace the folder, then copy your edited files back.
  4. Compare your config.lua with the new one - new options may have been added. The changelog lists them.
  5. Restart the resource or the server.

Database changes

You never have to run SQL by hand. If an update needs new tables or columns, the script adds them on start.
