Frameworks & the bridge
How LegendScripts connect to QBCore, Qbox, ESX and custom setups.
All LegendScripts resources talk to other resources through a bridge - the bridge/ folder inside every script. The script itself never calls qb-core, es_extended or ox_target directly, so you can swap any of them without touching encrypted files.
Automatic detection
With 'auto' (the default) the bridge picks the first resource that is running:
| Integration | Detected in this order |
|---|---|
| Framework | qbx_core, qb-core, es_extended, otherwise custom |
| Notifications | ox_lib, framework notifications, native GTA notifications |
| Target | ox_target, qb-target, otherwise a built-in "press E" prompt |
| Inventory | ox_inventory, qs-inventory, qb-inventory, otherwise the framework inventory |
Forcing an integration
Set the value in Config.Bridge to force one, for example Inventory = 'qs-inventory'.
Custom frameworks
Set Framework = 'custom' and fill in bridge/framework/custom/server.lua and client.lua. Each function has a short description of what it must return - for example Bridge.GetIdentifier(src) returns the character's unique id and Bridge.GetMoney(src, account) returns a number.
Accounts and money
Our scripts use the account names cash and bank. The ESX bridge maps cash to ESX's money account automatically.
